At the end of 2022, from Dec. 13 to 15, Liu Hongjian, the Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Kunming Municipal Committee, led a team to Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai for investment attraction, inspection and study. Based on Kunming's key industrial chain, the team visited renowned enterprises and actively connected with the capital resources of the Yangtze River Delta and gain momentum for Kunming’s high-quality development.

WZ Group is a Zhejiang provincial super large state-owned holding listed company and also the first national supply chain innovation and application demonstration enterprise. During the meeting, Liu said that the company’s development strategy is in line with the development direction of Kunming's industries. It is hoped that both sides strengthen the cooperation in logistics, international trade, the rubber industry, and other fields and promote high-quality development in a mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Xizi International Holdings Limited is a comprehensive enterprise group mainly focusing on equipment manufacturing and cross-industry operation. After learning more about the company, Liu said advanced equipment manufacturing is a key industry in Kunming. Xizi International is welcome to visit the site, reach the cooperation as soon as possible, and take Kunming as a starting point to actively expand to South and Southeast Asia markets. 

Suzhou Hengli Group is an international enterprise developing the whole industry chain of oil refining, petrochemical, new polyester materials, and textile. Liu said the chemistry industry is traditionally advantageous with excellent industrial basis and resources in Kunming. It is hoped that both sides focus on the areas of common concern, find the precise entry point, and promote cooperation to achieve a substantial outcome.

At Bluesail Medical and Zhangjiang Jinke Innovative Medicine Center, Liu and the heads of the company exchanged views on how to give full play to their advantages and expand cooperation space. Both sides reached an important cooperation consensus in medical devices, biomedicine, and other fields.

During each visit, Liu sent a sincere invitation of investing and developing in Kunming to entrepreneurs. Kunming City welcomes all to enter and invest in Kunming with the best service and environment. Heads of enterprises said that Kunming has an enormous market and huge potential and will go to Kunming and Mohan as soon as possible for an on-site inspection to strengthen the communication further, deepen the practical cooperation, and work together to achieve win-win development.

Liu also visited Hangzhou Baishaquan M&A Financial Street and Shanghai Jinsinan Institute of Finance for inspection and meetings. Liu said that it is necessary to study good experience and methods, adhere to ecological priority, green development, and innovative ideas to accelerate the development of Kunming into a regional international financial center for South Asia and Southeast Asia. After inspecting Shanghai Xiadu Town, a cultural and tourism project put into operation, Liu said it is imperative to upgrade traditional scenic areas and create high-quality cultural tourism projects with high standards to uplift the competitiveness and attraction of Kunming’s tourism.
