As stated in the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, "Working for the people's wellbeing is an essential part of the Party's commitment to serving the public good and exercising governance for the people. We must ensure and improve the people's wellbeing in the course of pursuing development and encourage everyone to work hard together to meet the people's aspirations for a better life.” Kunming Airport Investment And Development Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Airport Investment Group) will implement the spirit of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) National Congress while addressing people's practical concerns. Airport Investment Group will also continuously improve digital governance and actively create a "smart community”.

People's difficulties and problems are the focus of the work to address people's practical concerns. In order to effectively upgrade the intelligent service and streamline the on-site payment process of lease renewal of public rental housing, Airport Investment Group launched the payment platform of "smart community" before November of 2022, adding bill generation, POS payment, online printing of receipts, generation of financial statements and other functions to improve the work efficiency substantially. This system will be officially used in the recent rental collection work of public rental housing projects. As of now, over 1,700 tenants have completed the lease renewal and payment of public rental housing through the system.

In addition, the Airport Investment Group is actively conducting the research and development of WeChat service account-related applications. Users could follow the WeChat service account and link personal accounts with it, so users could receive lease renewal reminders, check personal bills and pay online via WeChat on their mobile phones.  (Editors: Ines, Rachel)
